Sambor, who was stationed in Kandahar, Afghanistan for four and a half months, talked to the students about his time overseas and the hardships that he and his fellow soldiers endured.

During a birthday celebration in early Nov., students and teachers at Haddonfield Friends School formed a human number 225 on the lawn, representing the Quaker school's 225 years educating children from Pre-K to eighth grade.

Bunker Hill Middle School students and staff were recognized by the Washington Township Board of Education for the “Bulldog Bash,” a program designed to encourage students to perform well academically, as well as get along with others, and act as an asset to both the school and the community.
