Grace Streicher
Marlton
Streicher (pictured), a senior at Cherokee High School and a star volleyball player, accepted a full athletic scholarship to Canisius College, where she will play on the Division 1 school’s volleyball team. She was first-team all-South Jersey and all-state last season, and is in her fourth year as a starting varsity setter.

Kevin Comer
Tabernacle
Comer, a star pitcher at Seneca High School last year, just signed with the Toronto Blue Jays, with just minutes to spare until the draft deadline. The 19-year-old received a $1.65 million signing bonus, as well as provisions for his college education.

Jessica Woodard
Marlton
Woodard, a Cherokee High School junior, is ranked No. 1 overall in the state in discus and No. 3 in shot put. During her prolific sophomore year, she set a state record for farthest discus throw, and took first place in discus at the South Jersey Meet of Champions. She was also honored this summer at a meeting of the Evesham Township Council.

Amanda Cuccinello
Washington Township
Cuccinello, a senior at Washington Township High School, was honored by the National Cheerleading Association at the summer’s Cheer Camp. She was named Top Captain for her leadership and team building skills.

Katie Alexander
Mount Laurel
Alexander placed fourth in individual trampoline at the Trampoline & Tumbling Junior Olympic National Championships in San Antonio, Tex., this August. The 12-year-old gymnast competed in double mini trampoline and power tumbling events as well.

Brandon Outlaw
Moorestown
Outlaw, a track and field competitor and student at William Allen Middle School, won two bronze and one eighth-place medal in the 2011 AAU Junior Olympic Games in New Orleans, La. Outlaw, 12, has medaled in the Junior Olympics four of the five years he qualified. To date, Outlaw has won 76 medals at the Junior Olympics.

Colin Perro
Marlton
Perro, a Cherokee High School senior, has already committed to play on Monmouth University’s Division 1 Northeast Conference baseball team next year. Perro finished his junior year at Cherokee with four wins and a 3.66 ERA. He struck out 27 batters over 28 innings pitched.
